Move Photos-Import Won't Allow Folder...

I just installed LR on my XP Pro PC and attempted to import an existing folder using the ''Move Photos to a new location and Import'' file handing option to move a folder containing photos into a new folder.



When the Browser for Folder box appears, it allows me to browse and create folders in the My Pictures directory, but I cannot select an existing or newly created folder. If I proceed with the import LR moves the selected folder and the photos it contains to the root of the My Pictures folder.



Any idea why this is happening?

Under the - File Handling ''move photos .........''

is the next option - Move To: (last location or default location) ''Choose'' with a drop down menu???

Thanks Geoff - I was unclear in my post. I am trying to import an existing folder into LR Library. I cannot seem to specify the new folder location to move the existing folder to.



I hope that makes more sense.

Just import it as refernced and in LR move the folder where you want it in the folder tree. LR will then move it there and on the HD.
