Collections - Lightroom Stalls

Dual core 6800, 3gb ram blah blah. High-end machine. Runs eveything else fast and smooth.



Problem is in Lightroom when I attempt to move about 500 jpgs in a quick collection to another collection using drag and drop. Lightroom goes into the ''not responding'' mode and needs to be restarted.



Anyone else experiencing similar difficulties? Any advice appreciated. Hugely frustrating. Wish I waited before shelling out $180.
