Dispay Captions in Slideshow and Web

Apologies if this is covered elsewhere but I had a good look and couldn't find it.



How can you display the caption to a picture when playing Slideshow or creating web page? You can display image information for instance, but if viewing a slideshow with family, colleagues, customers, whoever you perhaps don't want to do that. Anyway, why have a 'Caption' metadata tag if you can't use it?

Why not indeed? For slide show, just add the ''caption'' field wherever you want to place it. For Web, there is already a ''Caption'' field defined, although you don't have to use it for caption data if you want to show something else.
