How to delete both RAW and JPG at once?

Hey, everyone!

I'm stuck with the problem of deleting both raw and jpg at once. Is there any way to delete both files without deleting them separetly? This takes hell lot of time and I I shoot both in raw and jpg and have hundreds of them.

Are both the jpg's and the raw files imported into your LR library?

Yep, they are.

There have been a landslide of complaints that LR won't ingest Same named RAW +jpegs from a camera. Am I missing something? Does your camera give them distinctly different names? What camera is that? Or, did you ingest them both some other way--such as using one of the workarounds suggested on the forum?

If you can see the files in thumbnail view, simply do a select all, and hit delete. You then have a choice of removing them from the DB or deleting them to the trashcan. That can't be hard. If they are not showing and you want to delete them all simply go to a file browser, select tham all, and hit delete. That would take less than a minute at the longest. Or , am I missing something again?

I think Nick's problem is this: if you import a folder of raw+jpeg images, Lightroom shows only the raws, as is well known, but it knows the jpegs are there. If you rename the raw, for example, the jpeg is also renamed. However, if you move or delete the raw, the jpeg stays in place. So Nick, you have to go back out of Lightroom to delete the jpegs manually.
