How compactible is lightroom with elements 5.0
Elements 5.0 and Lightroom
Not as compatible as it is with Photoshop's RAW processor.
But please say what area you are concerned about.

If you try and import an Elements Catalog it can produce quite a messy library. Keyword hierarchy and DateTime of image may not be honoured.
Other than that you can invoke Elements as your Editor from LR.
