Does anyone have any tips on using the GretagMacbeth Color Checker with Lightroom?

There is discussion of it in Martin Evening's book. He talks about using it to calibrate your camera, and also, if memory serves, for white balance. Do you have the book, or should I try to paraphrase here?

Michael Reichmann and Jeff Schewe also do a Color Checker tutorial on their Lightroom video.



In my humble opinion, if you have not used something like GretagMacBeth before, you are likely to benefit more from Martin's book or Michael and Jeff's video -- which will be permanently available to you as a reference -- than from a forum response, unless the latter is atypically explicit and thorough. There's a reason those guys are teaching.



Also, have you checked the tutorials on the GretagMacBeth site?
