Selecting multiple keywords
that's a good way of doing it i guess. but then i can only see the ones with both keywords while i hover over the second one. i was hoping that there was a way to only show the ones with both. i guess i can just use the find panel to do it, but the i have remember how i spelled each keyword :)
DAM capabilities are in their early stages of development (LR V1.0) so maybe in time.

Sorry, just realised this isn't what you are trying to do....
Why not simply search by keyword ''John'' - and add the resulting images to a ''Quick collection'', then search by keyword ''Fred'' and add the result to the same Quick Collection?
That way you've got the result you need in a single ''collection''
If that is all that is wanted, in Keyword Tags on left of Library Multi-Select kewords do Select All on images and Do '+' for new collection to create collection with sellected images. Same end result.

I too would like to know how to select photos with say daughter1 and daughter2 on them i.e with keywords daughter1 AND daughter2. All the replies so far seem to give a solution for OR logic which you can acheive by Control clicking each keyword.
Cheers
Phil,
Use ''Find'', select ''Keywords'' and ''Containing All''. Be sure you have the group of files you want to search selected in Library or Folders. You can then make a collection of them or whatever want to do.
Fred,
Thanks very much, this works a treat.
