Print to PDF

I am trying to use LR print module to make a PDF contact sheet. I'm using the Adobe engine to print to PDF but the quality of the output is poor, regardless of what print quality setting is chosen. I am seeing horizontal banding across the images. I do not have this problem when printing to PDF from any other program, so it seems to be a LR specific issue.

Thanks

Describe poor. Pixilated, Off Colors, Washed out? None of the above? In what way is the PDF output poor for you? A more detailed Desciption may bring more answers.

Are you using Acrobat to print the PDF? What settings are you using? I am having issues when printing from LR in draft mode (colors are wrong in PDF), but it is working fine for me when not using draft mode. Here my settings:

1) In LR, no Draft Mode Printing, Print Resolution 180 dpi, no sharpening, Profile managed by printer and rendering intent relative

2) In Acrobat, I modified the ''Standard'' settings like this, under General %26gt; Compatibility %26gt; Acrobat 6.0; under Color %26gt; Color Management Policies %26gt; Tag Everything for Color Management and also ''Working Spaces RGB'' set to sRGB.

To check/change Acrobat settings, click ''Print settings'' in LR (Print module), select Adobe PDF as your printer and click on Properties, then Adobe PDF Settings %26gt; Default Settings

Don, As I said, I am seeing horizontal banding. The images look as though they have been split in two horizontally and then one half moved over by 1 pixel, so the two halves are not in register.

I hope that's a better explanation.

Francesco, you are correct, it was the draft mode setting. I didn't notice this option in LR and was making my quality choice in Acrobat after clicking on the 'print settings' button.

Thanks for the help.
