However, if I now direct LR to specifically import (again) the same JPeg file, LR refuses stating the file is already in the library; then I see that Already in Library displays the RAW file. H
ow can I direct LR to import both the RAW and the Jpeg file, and treat them as distinct (possibly stacked)?
Importing RAW+Jpeg, how to?
Search for raw+jpeg. There are many threads discussing this.

Search from the main Forum list not this post though, or you will only find this one.

I made a folder on my desktop to download the RAW+jpgs - all of them. Then I made a subfolder for the jpgs and moved those images from the first folder into the second. Then I asked Lightroom to import what was left (all the RAWs).

%26lt;br /%26gt;Yes, that's one way to do it; thanks for posting. For me, LR makes it easier to not shoot both, so I don't. My management is much easier, and I create JPEGs at will, always from the best original I can find... the RAW file.

By importing photo's from my Canon 20D in the library, Raw + Jpeg. Lightroom ask the source 20D, other files or USB reader. Everytime the same warning comes up ''no photos found to import'' There are a lot of photo's on my card. Please tell me what to do. I already updated the filmwire for the camera.
Copy photos to a folder and put it where you want, separate JPEGs into a different folder and import separately. Some Canons do not work right directly linked to the computer and LR.
