I use Mac OS X 10.4 and the exported files do not include an icon preview or thumbnail. I can do this by opening the image in Photoshop and re-saving but that seems like the hard way to do it. At the end of the day, I would like to be able to export a PSD or JPEG image from LR to a folder and see the image icon.
Thanks!
Export Image Previews
Go to Finder, then View, then View Options and set All to show preview. Unless they're DNG files, and currently they don't show previews out of LR.

Export Image Previews
Thank you! That approach worked well.
Interesting that some applications (like Photoshop) provide the preview automatically without modifying this setting while others (like Lightroom) do not.
Your suggestion will help me tremendously going forward.
I believe PS changes the actual icon, while LR and others just provide the preview you see in the Finder Window or if you set that pref.
